Requirements for Recreation Group
Holders of recreation group accounts have access to the same camp sites as other customers.
Requirements for Educational Group
The following groups may be eligible to apply for an Educational and Youth Group Account:
• Australian registered public, private or independent, primary or secondary schools
• Australian registered tertiary institutes
• Centres offering the Duke of Edinburgh Award Program
• Scouts and Guides
• Other youth groups established to provide access to arts, sport, religion, disability, mental health, playgroups etc and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
Holders of Education and Youth Group Accounts have access to special use areas that are not available to other account types. Other ‘educational groups’ that do not fit the criteria above will be considered on a case by case basis.
Please complete the following information on behalf of your school or youth group. Please note that only one account will be issued per school and the use of a generic phone number and school email address that can be used by other staff who may wish to make bookings is a requirement.
Upload the following supporting documentation below to allow the Parks and Wildlife Commission to assess your request to apply for an Educational and Youth Group Account:
• School Name and Letterhead
• Activities to be undertaken
• Age group of School children or youth group
• Public Liability Insurance
Requirements for becoming a Commercial Tour Operator
People who conduct commercial activities on Parks and Reserves are required to hold a valid By-Law 13 permit issued under the Territory Parks and Wildlife Conservation By-Laws 1984. If you do not hold a By-Law 13 permit and wish to conduct trade or commerce in a park or reserve, please refer to Permits for businesses in parks for information on the types of commercial permits the Parks and Wildlife Commission administers.
Please note: it is an offence to conduct trade or commerce in a park or reserve without a permit issued by the Parks and Wildlife Commission.
Concessionaire or Tour Operator Account Holders have access to special use areas that are not available to other account types.
